Review of Nestle Crunch Crisp candy bar

Written by valmg on December 29, 2007 – 8:30 am

Nestle sent me a coupon so that I could sample a free Crunch Crisp candy bar to try. I also bought a couple more of them so the rest of my family could try them as well.
The Nestle Crunch Crisp bar is the Nestle Crunch you’re familiar with coated over chocolate filled wafers and marshmallows. The candy bar is about 6 inches long and weighs 1.74 ounces. It feels heavier than a regular Nestle Crunch bar, but when you bite into one it’s surprisingly light. It doesn’t take much like a Nestle Crunch bar. My son thought that it tasted good and was better than the Crunch bar. My husband thought it was great, way better than a Crunch bar, and said the only thing he wished they’d done with it was mold it into sticks so you could break it apart without crumbling. I actually had two, as the Crunch Crisp has wheat flour which my youngest son cannot have because he’s not supposed to have anything with gluten in it. I had one of them cold, because I usually eat my chocolate cold. I had the other at room temperature. Surprisingly, I liked the Crunch Crisp better at room temp. It was still good cold but the wafers didn’t seem quite as tasty. I enjoyed the Crunch Crisp enough that I can safely say that I will buy many more. If you want to try one, visit www.playinyourday.com where Nestle is sending out 2,000 coupons every day so you can try one too. After you’ve tried it come on back here and let me know what you think of it.
