Best Bath Store Review and Giveaway
Written by valmg on August 1, 2008 – 9:18 pm
As previously mentioned, I was sent some products from Best Bath Store to review. Thanks to these products I did one thing I almost never take the time to do – take a bath. That’s not to say I don’t bathe, it just means that I’m always pressed for time so I take a shower. I also did one thing I’ve never done – paid attention to my feet. That doesn’t mean I usually ignore them, who could ignore those big honking things? What it means is that I don’t usually give them any special attention.
I was reading a book that I’m reviewing. Since I knew I’d be sitting still for a while I decided to try the Dead Sea Foot Scrub I received. Not knowing anything about Dead Sea products I did a little reading on the subject. From what I read Dead Sea Salt contains more of other salts and less sodium chloride than other ocean waters. It’s reported to have therapeutic properties and some success in reducing the depth of wrinkles and in treating psoriasis, acne and rheumatologic conditions such as arthritis.
The large 12 ounce jar of Dead Sea Foot Scrub retails for 29.95. It was filled with what looked like salt covered in oils. I decided to only do one of my feet, so I’d be able to compare before and after. Dead Sea Foot Scrub promises to revitalize. To use the Foot Scrub you rub a small amount of it onto your feet and wrap your feet in plastic. I rubbed the scrub onto my foot and left it there for 25 minutes (10 minutes longer than advised) before washing it off. My heel was noticeably softer than the untreated heel. My whole foot felt much nicer than before. I could actually feel the difference between the treated foot and the untreated foot while wearing my cork sandals.
The other products we received were Best Bath Store natural soap bars. I tried the lavender body bar which retails for $5.95. It came wrapped in a little pouch and was rectangular. I mention that because I always seem to have a hard time hanging on to soaps with rounded edges. It lathered nicely. The scent was soft and very relaxing. Hubby had to get me out because he thought I was falling asleep in there. The natural soap bars some in at least a dozen varieties, so there’s something for everyone.
Along with the terrific products I reviewed, Best Bath Store carries bath bombs, bath accessories, bath salts, hair care products, gift baskets and shaving products. Best Bath Store products are all made with natural ingredients and are never tested on animals. Best Bath Store offers free samples of their products, all they ask is that people pay a nominal shipping charge. They also offer a point system. For every purchase you make you earn points that can be used as store credit. Orders over $25 are shipped by Priority Mail for free.
Best Bath Store has been generous enough the She’s Seriously Spoiled Gift Basket to one winner for this giveaway. This basket includes Cocoa Butter Lip Balm, Shea Butter Body Bar, Shea Butter Face & Body Lotion, Lavender Bath Bomb, Moisturizing Shampoo, Leave in Conditioner, and our Intensive Under Eye Treatment. The soap scent I like best is the Shea Butter. Rich and creamy; luxuriant!

The summer citrus scent of soaps sounds really nice, particularly refreshing right now since it’s getting hot, hot, hot here - ick!
My husband is always looking for something to help with his skin after shaving, so I would most like to try Bay Lime Soothing After Shave - but for him of course. My son will start shaving sometime in the near future also so it would be nice to find things to suit him as well.
