Review of Avon Clearskin Cleansing Pads

I have very oily skin. I work in an office that can get quite warm no matter what the season, either due to the weather or people playing with the thermostat. I don’t like it when my face feels sweaty or greasy and I don’t want to encourage a breakout, so when I get home after work one of the first things I feel the need to do is clean my face. This is a review of Avon Clearskin Cleansing Pads.
The Cleansing Pads are circular and a little smaller than an Oxy pad, measuring about 1.5 inches across. At first glance I’m thinking that I wish the Avon pad was a little larger so it would be easier to work with. I find when I use the Avon pad the slightly smaller size makes it easier to work with and the edges aren’t curling in my fingers like they do when I use an Oxy pad.
The Clearskin pads contain 2% salicylic acid. The packaging states use is recommended for treatment of acne, prevention of acne and the opening of pores. The texture of the Clearskin pad is similar to that of an Oxy pad, containing a waffle weave type of pattern. What I really like about the Avon Clearskin pad is that it isn’t as harsh as an Oxy pad and I don’t feel like I’ve over dried my skin after using it. This may be partially because the container states that the product is for normal to oily skin.
I like the Avon Clearskin Cleansing Pads but to me they’re expensive. One container contain 42 pads and sells regularly for $4.29 in the Avon catalog. I got mine on sale for $1.99. On sale they’re a good value, and I recommend ordering them. At full price they cost about the same as what I pay for Oxy pads and have less pads so they lose value. This review is a toss up.
