Review of Cozi

I am the family calendar keeper. The scheduler. The person who tells everyone else in the house if and when they’re busy and what they’re busy doing. Almost everything is written on the calendar I keep in my purse. What isn’t written there I keep on my computer. Or maybe on the calendar in the kitchen. It depends on what it is. When someone wants to know what’s going on on a particular day they ask me. Ideally we’d have a calendar we could all see anytime. I’m sure there are a lot of families out there in similar situations. That’s where Cozi comes in.
Cozi is a website that can help your organize almost any aspect of your family life. After creating your free family home page, you can do lots of things with it. You can track appointments, activities, events, functions, parties, dates, chores and whatever else you’ve got happening on the family calendar. You can send your schedule to online calendars and you can sync calendars using the Cozi Outlook toolbar. A list feature is built in, allowing creation of lists for groceries and things to do. Families with multiple members online frequently will appreciate the ability to leave messages for other family members on the bulletin board.
Check out a screenshot taken from their online demo.

You can access your Cozi account from any computer connected to the internet. You can set up your profile to send your appointments to your mobile phone as a text message. For those that don’t text, you can call Cozi’s toll free number to hear your appointments. Very cool!
Cozi looks pretty cool, and I bet it would be helpful to a lot of people. Visit Cozi for yourself, and let me know what you think.
Thanks to Hybrid Mom for suggesting I take a look at this!
