Review of Ooprint Business Cards

I just received a box of free business cards from Ooprint. This is a review of the cards.
The proof of the card as I ordered it is shown in the upper left picture. The cards do look just like the proof I approved, I just couldn’t get a clear picture of the text. I ordered them because I want to start networking more and seek out more reviews, and I thought these cards might be helpful. They had many nice looking selections to choose from, but I really liked the tag clouds on the bottom of this particular style.
I ordered the cards at the very end of December and they arrived in my mailbox today. If you don’t count weekends and holidays they took about seven days to arrive. Available shipping methods are US Mail and DHL. My order came well packed, as shown in the upper right picture. The cards were in a plastic case and the case was surrounded by protective styrofoam. I was most impressed with the care taken in shipping. In comparison to popular business card printer Vistaprint, who I’ve used numerous times, the Ooprint cards are packaged much better.
As mentioned, the cards came in a plastic case, shown in the lower left picture. To me this is a selling feature. This is nice because it’ll protect them while being stored, and the clear case allows you to see what it is you’re storing. Comparing again to Vistaprint, storage of the Ooprint cards is preferable to me because Vistaprint cards only come in a flimsy cardboard box that doesn’t hold up well when crowded by other items.
The cards were of very nice quality. They weren’t flimsy or thin, they were actually of a surprisingly thick stock. As shown in the lower right picture, I handled one of the cards with the intent of seeing what kind of damage occurred with what might be considered typical wear and tear. The card didn’t easily bend or rip, and I believe they’ll wear well. Comparing to Vistaprint one final time, I found the Ooprint cards to be superior in quality and weight of the paper. They felt sturdier and thicker.
I recommend the free Ooprint business cards highly. You can’t beat the price of the free cards. In my opinion the quality of the product and the care in packing make it well worth the price of the shipping and then some. Ooprint business cards can be ordered at www.ooprint.com and they offer both free and paid styles. pricing on shipping options begin at about $5.90.
