ShooShoos Review and Giveaway

It’s hard to find nice, quality baby and toddler shoes at a reasonable price. For many years my Mom offered to buy the boys’ shoes because she knew I just couldn’t afford the good baby shoes and she wanted to be sure my boys had them. I was thrilled to be given a chance to review ShooShoos.
ShooShoos are quality shoes for children ranging from 0 to 24 months of age. When I saw the big selection of these adorable baby shoes on the website I was impressed. I fell in love with the dogs, hippo, giraffe and dump trucks. How refreshing to see cute boys’ shoes! I wish these had been available when my oldest was small.
We received the pink puppy ShooShoos in size 0-6 months. When I received the pair I’d been sent to review I was absolutely blown away. These are the cutest things ever and they’re really well made! They arrived in a little plastic tote bag with a handle. These shoes are made of Napa leather and all cotton thread and contain no toxic dye. A cotton lining is included for comfort and a non slip bottom for safety. There are no laces to come undone. Instead, the padded ankles are elasticized to make them easy for parents to put on and take off while making it more difficult for children to take them off. (These would have been very helpful when TJ was growing up because he wouldn’t ever keep his shoes on.) These soft soled baby shoes are made of leather and can be washed by hand or thrown right into the washing machine, a MUST in my family. The best thing about these shoes is that they’re affordable. Those plastic and vinyl shoes you can get in big discount department stores are about the same price but they not quality leather shoes like ShooShoos.
I work with a retired seamstress. Since I really don’t know anything about sewing and other crafty things, I asked her what she thought of the craftsmanship of ShooShoos. She said the shoes had small stitching and none of it was loose. She told me that she thought they were a quality shoe and quite reasonably priced considering the materials and workmanship.
ShooShoos was founded in South Africa in 1996 to help disadvantaged communities. ShooShoos are designed with the help of sport shoe institutes and are recommended by pediatricians. Since its beginning ShooShoos has continued to grow and now sells its shoes internationally to more than 20 countries. ShooShoos are available for purchase online from the ShooShoos website. Pricing ranges from $12.95 to $19.95.

I think the whole line of shoes are so cute. I like the beige w/ side flower or the all white. I would send these to my cousin who just had her first child. I wish I had known about these when my children were younger!

I honestly love them all. And they are so reasonably priced. I would have such a hard time picking one. I would get shoes for my 18 month old daughter for this winter. Not to be worn outside, though! I really like the pink suede summer shoes and the pink hippos, but would probably pick a white shoe to go with everything. Wow, I’m writing a little more than you were wanting, probably!

Looking at sites like this is why I’m glad I don’t have a little girl… I’d be in the poor house because I’d need to get at least 10 pairs! But given that I’m shopping for my 7month old son with the tiniest feet ever, I’ll have to say the Brown Suede Wrap is my favorite.
