Bic Soleil Bella Disposable Razor Review

Written by valmg on July 3, 2009 – 8:00 am

As a BzzAgent I was able to receive a pack of BIC Soleil razors to try. I only use disposable razors, so I was curious to try these. The BIC Soleil Bella is a four blade disposable razor with a pivoting head. The four flexible blades feature ez rinse technology, which permits water to rinse the blades from either the front or the back.

I had no problem rinsing the razor out during and after use. Not once did I need to tap or shake the razor to clean the blades, like I sometimes have to do with other disposables. The razor has a coconut moisture strip built in. The handle had a rubber grip and actually felt very sturdy and comfortable in my hand, unlike the cheap square edge handles on the other disposables I’ve tried. My Shop Rite was selling them for $5.39. While I did enjoy the performance of the razor I would not spend that much on them. I’d need a coupon for at least $3 off for me to buy them.

BIC Soleil Bella comes in a package of 3. Packs are available for purchase at food, drug and mass retailers nationwide. One pack has a suggested retail price of $6.49. They are a bit less expensive if you buy the
Bic Soleil Bella For Women Shaver, 3-Count from Amazon for $13.66.

Here’s a few shaving tips from the folks at BIC Soleil Bella.

  1. Try to shave at night
Shaving removes dead skin cells and the superficial layer of the epidermis. While this process is healthy for skin, it also reduces your skin’s defenses for a couple of hours. Shaving at night will give your epidermis the entire night to recover.
  2. Shave clean skin
Try not to shave any part of your body without having your skin perfectly clean. This will help prevent infection or bumps.
  3. Use a sharp blade
Keep in mind the duller the blade, the more irritated your skin will become. Change your blades regularly, especially if you have sensitive skin.

  1. I have used these and really like them. I was lucky to get them while my local grocery store had them on a buy one get one free sale, plus I had a save $1.00 coupon - I love those kinds of savings!!

I really like the cover that comes with them, too. Protects them in the tub and shower so no one gets an accidental cut. Thanks for your review, I 2nd your endorsement.
