“LATE NIGHT REPUBLIC,” starring talk meister Jake Sasseville launches the week of August 2nd. LNR is Jake’s latest turbo charged series that chronicles the often-absurd comedic antics of the 24-year-old underdog with championship dreams.

Sasseville has an uncanny instinct for what works. At the tender age of 14, he launched “The Edge with Jake Sasseville” on local access TV in Maine.

In 2007, the impatient, ambitious 21-year-old, frustrated with the stagnant state of late-night TV attacked the television and digital revolution himself. With the help of his worldwide fan base, he successfully launched a viral media mega storm, JAKE AFTER JIMMY, to have his program put on ABC after “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Sponsors Overstock, Fuze and Ford, to name a few, jumped on board to back the show.

Despite the odds, his flamboyant and irreverent, yet charming efforts paid off. His show launched after Kimmel on ABC affiliates in 35 million homes and ran in syndication for 15 months.

LATE NIGHT REPUBLIC is initially rolling out in national syndication in 55 markets and growing steadily, airing on Fox, CW and MyNetworkTV totaling nearly 50 million households and launches in August, for 71 weeks nationwide.

Jake has chatted and played with some of the biggest Hollywood stars and musicians around today. Everyone from the cast of NBCs “Will and Grace” to “30 Rock” star Katrina Bowden (Cerie). Brian Baumgartner (Kevin) and Kate Flannery (Meredith) from “The Office” have been guests on his late night talk show. Star Rainn Wilson (Dwight) also from NBCs “The Office,” captivated by Jake, opened the doors to his home for his stint on the show.

He’s a muse for veterans like Roseanne Barr who calls Jake a little “outlaw” in his approach to comedy and business. Comedians Will Forte (SNL), Jim Norton (Opie and Anthony & Jay Leno Show) and Arden Myrin (MadTV) all have palled around with Jake. LNR has most recently welcomed’ Michael Ian Black (Comedy Central) and the outrageous puppets from Avenue Q on Broadway.

Jake’s ties to the music industry are vast, too. One Republic, Guster and Wyclef Jean have all been guests. Wyclef Jean’s publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, called Jake “a shining star who’s shining so bright it burns a scar on you.”

The show is sharp and captivating where very little is off-limits. Any guest appearing will match wits with a truly inspired comedian with an original, non-linear mind and encounter a fearlessly outrageous sense of fun.

“Late Night Republic” is Executive Produced by Jake Sasseville, Travis Granfar, Dave Steck and Jeff Eisenberg. Co-Executive Producer is Mara Marich Tardy.
