My name is Valerie, also known as valmg on many websites.

This is me.

If you’ve seen an avatar that looks like the picture below, you’ve probably seen me. I’m a cat lover, especially Himalayan cats. This picture is of two Seal Point Himalayans that I rescued years ago. Sadly, they have since passed on.

My family lives in New Jersey.

I am a high school graduate (at age 15) and have completed some college.

I have been married for over 20 years.
I am a mother of two boys, ages 10 and 14. This is them.

My youngest son has Down Syndrome. He loves to watch kids shows and movies. My oldest son is Fourteen. His favorite activities are playing video games,  listening to music, skateboarding and watching movies.

My entire family loves music and watching movies.

What else would you like to know?

I HATE the misuse of the word retarded. I take it personally and find it very offensive.

I watch Nascar Nextel Cup racing. I cheered for Rusty until he retired and now I still cheer for the 2 (Kurt Busch). I also like the 26 (Jamie McMurray). I do not like the 24 or 48. I have a bumper sticker on my car that says “Anybody but Gordon”. Learn it. Live it. Love it.

Television I am currently watching includes ABC soaps, all 3 Law & Orders, Big Love, Gossip Girl, Two and a half Men, Burn Notice, In Plain Sight, Dead Zone, ER, Til Death, Pushing Daisies, Dirty Sexy Money, Friends, Will and Grace, Everybody Loves Raymond, Happy Hour, Seinfeld, Sex In The City, Kidnapped, Vanished, The West Wing, The Sopranos, Seventh Heaven, Starter Wife, Beverly Hills 90210, original Melrose Place. Please notice that most of the tv shows I really enjoy end up canceled. Just thought I should warn you.
