Nasty customer service rep at Target today

[ 15 ] December 10, 2008

Two days after Thanksgiving I ran into Target to pick up a couple of things for the birthday cake we were having to celebrate TJ’s thirteenth birthday. While I was walking through the store I noticed the Sex And The City movie and DVD sets on sale for under $9. I’d wanted to see the [...]

For a second time there is no sex in two cities

[ 0 ] November 30, 2008

I’ve been reading One Fifth Avenue by Candace Bushnell. She’s the woman who wrote Sex And The City, in case you didn’t know. Anyway. I haven’t read any of her books before this one, which I’ve been reading on and off for about two weeks now, a little each day. Reading the book reminded me [...]

It’s official, my Rusty is getting old.

[ 0 ] October 28, 2007

I love Rusty Wallace. I loved him as a driver and since he’s retired from racing I enjoy watching him as a commentator. Today they were broadcasting memories of Alan Kulwicki. When Rusty spoke of Alan, I noticed that Rusty is starting to show his age. His hair is disappearing right from his head. They [...]

Channel volume

[ 1 ] September 22, 2007

I am sitting here at the computer at my desk in the living room and my husband is 6 feet away watching television. My hubby loves to channel surf. He was watching something that ended at 2:30. By 2:40 he’d settled upon another channel whose volume seemed twice as loud as the last one. I [...]

Morning tv

[ 0 ] September 7, 2007

Today is the first morning I’ve been alone and uninterrupted. I had on the news early when the kids were leaving for school. I left the tv on while I did other things. I was amazed to see the absolute crap that they put on tv in the morning. It’s a good thing kids are [...]

Open season

[ 0 ] February 18, 2007

Well, I’ll be happy on Sundays again. Race season starts today!

They’re different

[ 0 ] October 27, 2006

Dora vs Diego continued. Ok. So the Dora voice is done by Kathleen Herles. The Diego voice is done by Jake Toranzo-Szymanski. At least that’s what I found on the net. They still sound the same to me.

Dora and Diego

[ 0 ] October 27, 2006

Does anyone else think that Dora and Diego sound like the same person? I’m wondering if they made Diego so that boys could watch Dora without being considered feminine. I’ll have to check.

It’s over.

[ 0 ] December 3, 2005

Well I’ve just finished watching the Nextel awards banquet. Rusty’s offically retired now. I cried. My son laughed at me. Nuff said.

I’ve been waiting for this!

Black. Tomorrow. Yeah baby!
